Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

This position is part of the Production Management Department and its purpose is to optimize operational processes and standardization within production lines through the application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (such as poka-yokes), ensuring efficiency, product quality, and the timely availability of the tooling and/or devices required (when applicable) for operations.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and maintain capacity and cycle time standards.
  • Analyze downtime and operational constraints.
  • Actively support the development of continuous flow through line balancing.
  • Actively support the review and updating of process flow.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date layouts within the assigned area to optimize line distribution and maximize space utilization.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, devices, and safety guards.
  • Update procedures, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and related documentation.
  • Design and deliver technical training.
  • Lead technical root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects (KAIZEN, SMED, ANDON, TPM, etc.).
  • Manage process changes within the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Maintain updated backup copies of CNC programs for the various areas.
  • Be responsible for monitoring and implementing the 6S methodology in the assigned production lines.

Requirements:

*Education: Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
*Proficiency in Office Suite at Intermediate-Advanced level and ERP.
*English Level B1 Conversational.
*5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in industrial processes (machining, stamping, packaging).
*Experience with CNC, process control and automation, process documentation.
*Knowledge in lean manufacturing, FMEA, control plan, A3.
*Numerical skills and ability to read blueprints and measuring instruments.
