IT Specialist - ERP

 

Location: Poland remote

Duration: 24-36 months contract

 

 

Job Summary

The IT CoE team is responsible for delivering sustainable, efficient, and robust IT solutions that enable the organization’s strategic and operational goals. The team focuses primarily on engineering and delivering new capabilities and technology solutions. In addition, the CoE ensures effective resource management by aligning demand with supply, securing required expertise for ongoing initiatives, and maintaining target utilization levels across the team.

IT Specialist
The IT Specialist plays a key role in the realization and delivery of IT solutions. This role is accountable for producing high‑quality deliverables and executing assigned project tasks in alignment with designs provided by Solution Architects and plans defined by the Project Manager. The IT Specialist supports the Project Manager in ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timelines, resource utilization targets, and budget parameters.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Realization & Delivery

    • Deliver high‑quality solution implementations in JDE E1 and JDE World across project and support initiatives.
    • Design, build, test, and maintain JDE objects, customizations, and integrations using core development toolsets.
    • Ensure that all requirements defined in the solution description are accurately implemented.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
    • Work closely with end users to validate that delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Requirements & Analysis

    • Translate business demand into detailed functional and technical requirements within the relevant domain.
    • Develop high‑quality business requirements to support accurate estimation of effort, cost, and resource needs.
    • Identify, analyze, map, and document information needs for current and future processes and systems.
  • Project Execution

    • Execute project activities under the operational guidance of the Project Manager, adhering to CIO office and PMO standards.
    • Manage project products and configuration items, including data flows, system configurations, and functional/technical documentation.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance

    • Conduct unit testing for all project deliverables and support solution validation.
    • Facilitate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution readiness and business alignment.
  • Training & Knowledge Management

    • Prepare training materials and conduct user training sessions and workshops.
    • Collaborate with Operations teams to ensure smooth Service Introduction and transition to support.
  • Technical Support & Advanced Data Work

    • Provide technical support for escalated issues within the relevant functional/technical domain.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in French and English is required.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the process industry and relevant technological developments within JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) and JDE World.
  • Demonstrable experience working with the JDE E1 and JDE World systems currently in use at Morgan.
  • Solid understanding of ERP best practices across Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Strong proficiency in JDE E1 development toolsets such as OMW, RDA, FDA, Event Rules, NER, and BSFNs.
  • Experience with JDE World (AS/400) technologies including RPG / ILE RPG, CL, and DB2/400 (nice to have but advantageous).
