Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

The Change Business Partner will lead the people-side implementation of strategic transformation across manufacturing operations. This includes driving the adoption of new systems, processes, and behaviours that enhance efficiency, safety, and growth. A key focus of the role is enabling robust implementation and sustainable adoption of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes within the ERP environment (notably Microsoft D365), ensuring supply chain accuracy, production efficiency, and inventory optimisation. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing, ERP, and change facilitation to support both people and site-level transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Business Unit leaders, site managers, and functional teams, aligning change initiatives with manufacturing and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Highlander team in simplifying points of contact, improving clarity on local priorities and explaining core model deployment
  • Lead and support change management efforts related to process improvements and the ERP implementations, notably for MRP and sales & operational planning
  • Conduct business impact assessments, readiness analyses, and stakeholder mapping across production sites, sales offices and central functions.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate training delivery
  • Develop and execute communication and engagement plans to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Identify resistance and risks to adoption across various business units and develop practical strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with local operational teams to coordinate integrated change activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement culture by embedding new behaviours, tools, and mindsets at all levels of the organization.
  • Track and report business change readiness, identifying gaps and proposing mitigating actions.

Qualifications

 

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Deep understanding of shop floor processes, operations, production workflows, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting or deploying MRP modules in ERP systems (Microsoft D365 or similar), with a track record of driving adoption and performance improvement.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between IT system design and operational execution for MRP and related planning functions.
  • Experience delivering change management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Understands and leads for the to-be processes and ways of working
  • Understanding and advocating good practices in principle and in detail for a range of topics, especially MRP, P2P and Forecast to stock processes as well as margin management
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence frontline teams, middle management, and senior leaders.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, particularly in operational and technical contexts.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence frameworks would be an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, Microsoft D365) is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable working at different levels of the organisation
  • Flexible to adapt to the changing business needs of the projects
  • Serves as best practice/quality resource within MRP and ERP Transformations  

 

Qualifications and Behaviours:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Aptitude to learn and adapt, seeing change opportunities and encouraging others to seek positive change
  • Change Management or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in change, transformation, or multi-site operational roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
