Location: Europe (Remote)
Duration: Staff or Contract (initial 12-months engagement)

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated D365 F&O Support Specialist with a strong background in warehouse, supply chain, and production modules. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), with a particular focus on operational processes and troubleshooting in manufacturing and distribution environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Support: Deliver first and second-line support for D365 F&O, particularly in Warehouse Management, Inventory, Procurement, Production Control, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues, collaborating with IT and business teams for timely solutions.
  • User Assistance: Guide end-users on system navigation, functionality, and best practices, emphasizing operational roles.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and proactively address issues in supply chain and production workflows.
  • Release Quality: Ensure quality of releases (fixes, upgrades, enhancements) through rigorous testing and environment management.
  • Incident Management: Log, track, and manage incidents using a ticketing system.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of issues, resolutions, and process flows.
  • Training: Create and deliver training materials for new systems/processes using Click Learn.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and planning teams to ensure seamless integration and process alignment.
  • Updates & Upgrades: Support system updates and enhancements with minimal operational disruption.
  • Process Understanding: Demonstrate strong end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing and distribution processes, including material flow, production scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Understand upstream/downstream impacts of process changes across departments.
  • Change Management: Review and escalate process design changes, partnering with business leaders for improvements.
  • User Engagement: Build strong relationships with key users and stakeholders to ensure effective feedback loops.
  • Post-Deployment Support: Provide hyper-care and stabilization support following deployments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 4–5 years supporting D365 F&O, with hands-on experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and production modules.
  • Industry Background: Proven experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in D365 F&O and understanding of integrations/ISVs.
  • Business Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes and their financial impact.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage end-users and stakeholders effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in SCM or Manufacturing modules preferred.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a customer-first approach.
  • Support Environment – Ability to trouble shoot, 1st line/2nd line support.
  • Italian preferable
