Overview

The EHS Admin Support provides essential administrative assistance to the Environmental, Health, and Safety team, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is key to maintaining documentation, tracking EHS data, and facilitating effective communication among teams.

The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain EHS records, files, and documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and training materials related to EHS initiatives
  • Coordinate scheduling for EHS meetings and training sessions
  • Support EHS audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with data entry and database management for incident reports, action items, and safety observations
  • Monitor and order EHS supplies, and inventory as needed
  • Respond to routine inquiries and distribute EHS communications to relevant stakeholders
  • Help ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions and audit findings
  • Track and update EHS compliance calendars, ensuring all inspections, permit renewals, and regulatory submissions are completed on time
  • Assist in organizing EHS awareness campaigns, safety days, and other related events
  • Prepare and distribute internal EHS newsletters or bulletins
  • Collate and analyse EHS performance metrics for management review
  • Arrange EHS-related training refreshers for employees and ensure attendance is logged and updated
  • Support onboarding of new employees with EHS orientation materials and training coordination
  • Facilitate the maintenance and calibration schedule for safety equipment
  • Support initiatives for improving environmental performance, such as reducing emissions and energy use.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications such as IOSH advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Previous administrative experience (EHS or compliance experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
