The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Responsibilities

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular physical counts of inventory to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Managing and updating inventory records in both physical and digital systems.
  • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate stock movements and transfers.
  • Identifying discrepancies and working proactively to resolve any inventory-related issues.
  • Utilizing Excel and other computer software to track, analyze, and report on inventory data.
  • Performing manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management programs.
  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.

Salary range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
