Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities:

  • High degree of accuracy required
  • Specification review and verification for all orders to be shipped which includes overchecking all documents (travelers, labels, test results, all of which are part of the permanent records for the shipment).
  • Specification review for new revisions and feedback to Customer Service on pertinent changes. 
  • Prepare certification documents for all shipments using process control lab database. 
  • Calibration management for all hand tools, comparators, Vertex and surface plates.
  • Ordering and tracking supplies for the Quality Control and Shipping Departments.
  • Maintain JIT for all supplies used.
  • Assist with Quality Management documentation issuance and version control for all departments with 2nd and 3rd level quality documents. 
  • Collaborate with various document owners, authors, and technical resources to collect the required draft content of documents to enable subsequent processing, review, and approval processes.
  • Enter data for various Quality Systems into their respective software applications.
  • Collaborate with the production planner, shipping, sales department, and other staff to achieve on time delivery targets.
  • Coordinate customer orders/releases with the shipping department.
  • Filing documents and records
  • Scheduling of incoming customer orders with inspection and packaging
  • Ensure that safety and environmental policies and procedures are followed and maintained within organizational and federal and state policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Familiar with and conduct job duties in compliance with the quality and management system.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • High level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Quality orientation and high attention to detail
  • Preferred 2 years’ experience working in a professional office environment while applying the required software skills noted above
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Education or experience within a laboratory setting is highly preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a quality environment is preferred (e.g. ISO 9001, AS9100)

  • Citizen of the United States, or

Salary Range: $25 - $27 hourly DOE
