Overview

Our Automation & Control Engineer (Robotics)  is a specialized professional responsible for the design, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of robotic systems and related machinery.

Combine principles of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to create automated solutions across manufacturing and maintenance. 

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robotic prototypes.
  • Construct, configure, and test robots and robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems.
  • Install, operate, calibrate, and maintain robots.
  • Develop software and programming code to control robotic systems.
  • Integrate robotics with peripherals, sensors, and actuators.
  • Conduct research to create new robotic systems or enhance existing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and project scope.
  • Provide technical support for robotic systems and applications.
  • Ensure robotic machines operate safely, dependably, and with precision.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, and Java.
    • Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and dynamics.
    • Knowledge of mechanical design, electronics, and sensor technologies.
    • Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in robotics.
    • Experience with CAD software for robotic design.
    • Expertise in designing algorithms for navigation, perception, and planning.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Creativity and imagination to design innovative robotic solutions.
    • Practical focus and logical thinking for troubleshooting and debugging.
    • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
