Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic AMERICAS Industrial Market Sales Manager to drive new business development, manage key accounts, and support the execution of our global segment strategy. In this high-impact role, you will expand our market presence, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives across the industrial market.


Essential Functions

 

As the AMERICAS Industrial Market Sales Manager, you will:

Accelerate Commercial Growth

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with the global segment vision.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the opportunities pipeline across the AMERICAS region.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key customers to achieve mutual success.
  • Lead strategic negotiations and close win-win deals to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Utilize tools such as D365, Power BI, Market Maps, and Value-Pricing methods to drive data-informed decisions.

Lead Key Account & Strategic Management

  • Manage key accounts with a long-term partnership approach.
  • Align regional pricing, product, and customer strategies with the global segment roadmap.
  • Collaborate with global segment teams and other regional sales leaders to ensure consistent customer experience.
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team of sales and application engineers.

Provide Market Intelligence & Support Product Innovation

  • Gather customer insights and market trends to guide new products and application development.
  • Partner with the global marketing communications team to deliver effective regional messaging and campaigns.

Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure exceptional service and delivery.
  • Participate in S&OP processes, aligning forecasts with customer demands.
  • Support strategic projects, new market development initiatives, and annual strategy reviews.

Champion Safety, Compliance & Ethics

  • Promote our Think SAFE culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

Core Competencies & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development in a technology-driven or industrial environment.
  • Proven expertise in new business development and key account management.
  • Exposure to industrial, transport, or energy markets.
  • Strong strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; multilingual ability is a plus.
