Responsibilities

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support our Process Engineer during a major ERP system implementation. This role will be instrumental in ensuring data integrity, process alignment, and actionable insights throughout the transition. The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

 

This position is a temporary position up to 18 months. Full benefits package available. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Process Engineer to understand current workflows and data requirements.
  • Analyze legacy system data and assist in data migration planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor implementation progress.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support testing and validation of ERP modules related to process engineering.
  • Assist in mapping business processes to ERP functionalities.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize process design and system configuration.
  • Document data definitions, sources, and transformation logic.
  • Train end-users on data-related aspects of the ERP system.
  • Conduct gap analyses between current and future state data structures.
  • Participate in data cleansing and enrichment activities to ensure high-quality inputs.
  • Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues during ERP go-live and stabilization phases.
  • Works with IT and ERP consultants to define data governance standards and protocols.
  • Support change management efforts by providing data impact assessments.
  • Assist in creating SOPs and documentation for data handling within the new ERP system.
  • Coordinate with finance, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure cross-functional data alignment.
  • Track and report on data-related risks and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle

 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  •  2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies is a plus. Additional Requirements and Physical Demands:

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration strategies.
  • Experience working on cross-functional project teams.
  • Understanding manufacturing or supply chain operations.
  • Exposure to Agile or Waterfall project methodologies
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP a strong plus

  • This position requires the use of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
