The Senior Supply Chain Manager is a Multi-Site Role and an important functioning member of the Americas Operations Leadership team: This role is key to define and implement our supply chain strategy in the Americas, especially in regards to the S&OP and the management of respective Logistics, Warehouse, Planning and Inventory, in order to ensure that appropriate material quantities are available to support production while maintaining and achieving Inventory Goals.
The Senior Supply Chain Manager is also responsible for leading and supporting the Supply Chain teams across Thermal Ceramics - Americas in achieving their targets, as well as developing the site SC reporting organization and supervising the daily activities of the Department and assigned personnel. This role is hybrid with ~25% travel including consistent days in Augusta, GA (Americas Headquarters).

Extensive and demonstrated experience with Oliver Wight S&OP Methodology
Broad knowledge of business economics as related to Supply Chain
Deep understanding of both Demand and Supply
Demonstrated ownership and deployment of OEE (overall equipment effectiveness)
Four-year college education or equivalent work experience (five years)
Negotiating skills
Managerial skills required including remote management
APICS certification
Experience: What does the role holder need to be familiar with?
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
Ability to respond to sensitive inquires or complaints
Ability to write detailed reports and correspondence using original and/or innovative techniques or style
Ability to speak effectively in front of individuals or large groups of customers, suppliers or other employees
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Adhere to Corporate Schedule of Authorities (Purchase Order Approval Limits) and Purchasing Operating Procedures including monitoring of inventory levels, response to corrective actions, vendor reliability reports, and consignment usage
Responsibilities may include travel both domestically and internationally
Must be able to work well with stakeholders at all levels and in all departments of the Company as well as external contacts
