Programme role
The Highlander Programme will implement Microsoft Dynamics D365 across our global manufacturing business covering approximately 100 entities and 19 countries between 2025 and 2027. We have built our global core template and are now embarking on our deployment phase as we roll out the solution across all of our Morgan sites across the world.
The D365 Lead Functional Consultant for Sales on our Highlander Programme is a project role and will support our Global Process Owner Team. Thye will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimisation of sales modules within D365 to enable successful and efficient execution of processes.. Throughout each local deployment the role will also need to guide local resources through the implementation process of our global solution and processes.
The consultant will serve as the subject matter expert in D365 sales and play a critical role in project delivery, ensuring the seamless integration of Dynamics 365 into business operations.
Working closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers this role is pivotal to ensure that solutions align with business objectives, technical standards, local regulatory requirements and our global solution design. Morgan needs to ensure that we comply with all relevant trade compliance requirements and this role will also focus on these areas, alongside other team members in other functional areas.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics D365 across sales modules in a manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and proven experience in leading teams is essential.
The D365 Lead Functional Consultant for sales will take ownership of all aspects of the D365 Solution for the sales modules.
Responsibilities:
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX, with a focus on sales modules.
Education:
Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Certifications:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales certification preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Good knowledge of Azure DevOps. Knowledge of other complementary Microsoft tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of the data entities associated with the sales modules.
• Strong expertise in configuring and customising Dynamics 365 Sales modules.
• Knowledge of workflows and reporting tools within D365
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
