Job Summary

 

The Highlander Global Process Owner plays a key role in our Operations & Supply Chain (OSC), Sales and Finance teams for our Dynamics 365 implementation project known as Highlander. This position will work to support our Global Process Owners and the wider Highlander Programme team to ensure our projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Deployment of Operations & Supply Chain core model solution to various manufacturing and warehouses sites across business.
  • Own and lead the transformation and strategic implementation of Global Processes.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership, BU Directors, Site Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Supply Chain & Operations to drive excellence across our global business.
  • Enhance process efficiencies and support global technology to support the Morgan Highlander Programme. Work collaboratively to enable our vision for one Global Process and one Global Highlander Platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain industry best practice.
  • End-to-end process owner for their respective area (Operations & Supply Chain). Process Owners must have a good appreciation of End-to-End processes crossing multiple disciples.
  • Ability to work within a cross functional team – understand the impact of your process and the flow to the next process even when it’s outside of your primary Process Taxonomy.

 

Highlander Programme Key Responsibilities

  • Work with End Users, Global Key User and SME community to prepare them for Highlander phases, discovery, playback, get fit workshops, change management, acceptance testing of the solution, training & testing, deployment and hyper care.
  • Support the business during the deployment of Highlander with validation of data in collaboration with the Data Migration Team.
  • Oversee and drive process design/re-design, policy revision, workflow etc., as well as inputs to change impact analysis management. 
  • Align the Global Process to the Highlander Global Solution Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM as new local requirements are identified and as new functionality is released.
  • Understand the functional steps in the Highlander Global Solution to conduct processes within your areas of the Global Taxonomy.
  • Review Process design changes and escalate to relevant approval boards, work with business leaders to implement the desired change impacts.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement. Work with the Business on Continuous improvement and process Optimisation
  • Own & Maintain Global & Local approved Process Taxonomy, Process Maps & SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures, with Click Learns)
  • Maintain Test Scenarios and participate in testing the Highlander Solution in line with your process
  • Stay up to date with new process and/or functional requirements

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 with a focus on master planning, production control, inventory management, warehouse management, product information management, engineering change management, and procurement and sourcing
  • Experience of business best practice in Manufacturing and Supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to rapidly learn new tools and techniques in areas where not known (e.g. Third party add on solutions such as banking & tax, DevOps)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Working Environment

Remote with visits to Morgan offices in USA and other international locations as required. Must be a US Person.
