Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join a global ERP transformation programme in a complex, multinational industrial business. As a D365 SCM Functional Consultant, you’ll play a hands-on role in the US leg of our Microsoft D365 rollout — working with international teams to transform how our manufacturing and supply chain functions operate.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across our Global sites and global programme teams to ensure business processes are accurately captured, optimised, and delivered within Microsoft D365.

Responsibilities

The Role

You’ll act as a key functional lead within our Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing workstreams — focusing on business process discovery, configuration, testing, training, and support activities during and after implementation.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consulting on D365 modules covering Manufacturing, Warehousing, Planning, and Logistics
  • Working with global stakeholders to understand processes and define future-state solutions
  • Writing functional specifications and documentation for D365 configuration and development
  • Supporting the configuration and deployment of Advanced Warehouse Management, BOM/Route design, and Goods in Transit
  • Delivering user training and process documentation
  • Assisting with issue resolution, user support, and post-go-live stabilisation
  • Collaborating with our implementation partners to ensure successful deployment

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a D365 SCM or Manufacturing Functional Consultant role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain business processes
  • Deep knowledge of modules such as Production Floor Execution, Warehousing, and Procurement
  • Experience supporting full ERP rollouts, including documentation, training, and support
  • Familiarity with Application Support processes and ability to handle both functional and end-user queries
  • Microsoft certification and experience in industrial/manufacturing environments are desirable
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
