The Thermal Ceramics division designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of thermal insulation products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions in a variety of high temperature processing applications. Responsibilities

About the Role

Our Global HR Business Partner will lead the people agenda for our Cores business within the Technical Ceramics Global Business Unit at Gopher Advanced Materials. This strategic role supports operations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Mexico and the UK, partnering directly with the Global VP and site leadership teams.

 

You’ll play a critical role in aligning HR strategy with commercial and operational objectives—driving transformation, enabling cultural evolution, and building long-term organizational capability across multiple regions.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute a people strategy that supports business transformation, growth, and performance
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive cultural alignment, engagement, and leadership capability
  • Lead strategic HR initiatives across talent, succession, organizational design, and performance
  • Coach and support leaders through change and transformation efforts (e.g., Operational Excellence, Sales Effectiveness)
  • Harmonize global HR practices across the US, Mexico and UK—ensuring consistency while respecting local nuance
  • Foster a high-performance, inclusive, and safe culture across all locations
  • Travel globally (~30%) to maintain strong site-level connections and business alignment

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in strategic HR leadership roles within manufacturing or industrial settings
  • A proven track record in multi-site or global HR leadership, ideally across North America and Europe/Latin America
  • Demonstrated success in leading business transformation and cultural change
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills across diverse geographies and leadership levels
  • Fluent in English; Spanish language skills highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement)
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing-focused HR role
  • 5+ years in a global/multi-site HR leadership capacity, including leading HR teams
  • Must be a "US person" (22CFR120.15) or "protected individual" (8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
