D365 Deployment Project Manager – United States of America 

Location: US Remote (EST Region)

ROLE SUMMARY:

The role of the Highlander Deployment Project Manager is a key role on our Programme.

Since 2023 the Programme Team have been building a core solution based on Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM that will be rolled out across the Morgan estate.

This role will manage the planning, implementation and delivery of our core Highlander solution and associated ISVs and local Tax, Legal and Statutory (TLS) changes across our sites in the United States of America. 

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Project Planning and Execution: 

 

  • Play a central role in our wider Highlander global programme team and align all activities, plans and reporting to our overall Highlander programme plans and delivery methodologies 
  • Lead the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones through MS Project Online and Microsoft DevOps to ensure successful project delivery. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to allocate resources and manage project scope and timeline effectively. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. 
  • Work alongside all other programme team members including testing, data, security, reporting, change management, business process owners to foster collaboration in the delivery against the plan.  
  • Build and execute plans for the transition of the solution to BAU teams.  

 

Solution Architecture and Design: 

 

  • Collaborate with solution architects (*) and technical teams to ensure local roll out sites comply to our overall global solution and associated business processes.  
  • Engage with local stakeholders to ensure changes from the global template solution are restricted to TLS requirements.  

 

(*) Note: Solution Architects have the responsibility for the solution delivery and solution integrity 

 

Stakeholder Management: 

 

  • Facilitate the local Steering Committee. 
  • Be the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, project team members and suppliers for all matters attaining to the solution delivery of the USA roll out sites to provide regular project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.  
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and project timeline.  

 

Quality Assurance and Delivery: 

 

  • Participate in the ongoing development of our programme delivery strategies and adhere to these strategies in the USA deployments. 
  • Work closely with Highlander data teams and testing teams to identify and resolve any issues or defects prior to deployment. 

 

Documentation and Reporting: 

 

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, to track progress and facilitate effective communication. 
  • Generate regular project reports and presentations for stakeholders to provide insights into project status, risks, and achievements. 

 

Qualifications

 

 

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Proven experience in ERP Project Management, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of MS Power platform (PowerApps/SharePoint/Dataverse). 
  • Experience in implementing Dynamics 365 into a global manufacturing organization  
  • Experience of collaborative project lifecycle and software change management tooling (e.g. DevOps) 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment  
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills  
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills  
  • PMP Certification (preferred)  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
