We're seeking a Business Manager to drive our Mobility & Clean Energy segment within our Thermal Ceramics business in EMEA. This is a priority growth market, and you will play a critical role in expanding market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading new business initiatives across the region.

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Account Management & Growth

  • Lead key account management for existing customers, ensuring strong relationships and contract execution.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities within current business contracts and partnerships.

New Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Mobility & Clean Energy market.
  • Own the business development pipeline—from identifying new leads to converting opportunities into long-term agreements.
  • Analyze market trends and emerging technologies, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with R&D, technical, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the regional strategy, working closely with global marketing and sales teams.
  • Present business cases and lead discussions in executive forums to drive corporate decision-making.
  • Oversee contract execution, ensuring smooth delivery and proactive issue resolution.

Financial & Business Metrics

  • Deliver on financial KPIs, including Revenue, Gross Margin, EBITDA, and DSO.
  • Drive BD metrics such as lead generation, opportunity conversion rates, and overall market growth.

 

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

Experience & Expertise

  • 8-10+ years in sales & business development, with at least 3-5 years of team leadership experience.
  • Background in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Industry knowledge in Automotive EV, Energy Storage, Fuel Cells, or Clean Energy is a plus.
  • Strong solution selling experience, particularly in technical markets.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strategic thinker & problem solver with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills—able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM & data analysis to drive informed business decisions.
  • Ability to navigate complex, fast-changing markets with resilience and adaptability.

Languages & Travel

  • Fluent English is required. German, French, Spanish, or Italian would be a strong asset.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA as needed.
