- Establish single window contact point for Client in Logistics, Despatch for better delivery of product. | |||
- Ensure and monitor while loading to avoid complaints like vehicle condition and material condition for all the despatches. Ensure zero liability on company for transit damages & detention charges | |||
- An experienced planner/despatcher professional with extensive exposure in warehouse operation and relevant expertise in Channel sales and Supply Chain Management | |||
- Coordination with client for on time delivery schedule of material and to update customer regarding the despatch status and expedite the process as per their requirements | |||
- Co-ordinate with internal team to achieve the planned dispatches on a daily basis | |||
- Working closely with the Marketing team to ensure on time delivery schedule | |||
- Getting shipment plan from plant for on time delivery of Project orders. Tracking and getting the details of the material which needs to be produced and shipped in desired schedule | |||
- Arrange freight quotes / negotiations with transporter on issues related to their scope, rates and time for safe delivery, measure transporters performance and report deviations - maintain and update freight register | |||
- Vehicles follow up based on daily requirement and responsible for timely despatch of all vehicles from the terminal to right destinations | |||
- Domestic and exports invoice generations and send to customers on time for arranging insurance by customers. - maintain despatch register. | |||
- Maintaining FG, monitoring , reporting and to keep in the company's desired level by reporting & coordination | |||
- Overall planning of FG despatches for all the customers as per their requirement - ensure and monitor while loading to avoid complaints like i) shortage in bags ii) damages in package iii) wet cartons bulging of cartons | |||
- Avoid and limit freight outgo on account of increased freight/revised freight rates-track, document and report | |||
Co-ordinate with drivers for location information | |||
Share despatch documents to Customer , CS , Marketing | |||
Follow up for freight bills, check and submit to finance for accouting, Reconcillation of freight amount between our scope and customer scope | |||
Provision list to finance at month end | |||
- Maintain and record all freight bills - verify the bills and submit documentary proof before forwarding for approvals. |
