Responsibilities

The site Process Engineering and Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the process engineering team across all value streams. This includes providing guidance and fostering staff development in a high-speed manufacturing setting. The manager will use troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving methods to enhance plant efficiency. Additionally, they will recommend, develop, and implement enhancements to production processes, materials, methods, and controls.   This position will also be responsible for ensuring quality throughout the design, development, manufacturing, engineering, support and operations processes. This role leads the strategic direction for site initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality Management System, product acceptance and product quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or Engineering; Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills and proficiency in performing and implementing Design of Experiments (DOEs), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Ishikawa Diagrams, optimization, and other systematic tools; and Strong program and project management, leadership, team building, and mentoring skills are required.

Experience with Automated and Semi-Automated assembly; Minitab experience; and Six Sigma Green Belt certification and ISO 9001 Quality Management System experience are preferred

Responsibilities may include travel and must be able to travel within the US.

Must be able to work well with subordinates, peers and superiors in all departments of the Company as well as external contacts. Must have good time management, planning and negotiation skills
