We are looking for a Production Technician to join our team, working with Min-K flex sheets to produce high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate machinery and use tools to meet production goals.
  • Maintain high production standards by adhering to quality and safety protocols.
  • Cross-train in various roles within the Production department to support the team.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, process deficiencies, and any unsafe conditions.
  • Complete production documentation and ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Perform daily risk assessments at the beginning of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

 

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education & Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
  • Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well both independently and within a team, while managing multiple tasks.
  • Language: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with potential overtime as needed.

 

Physical Demands:

  • This role requires standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching regularly.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision and color distinction.
  • Individual must be a
    • Citizen of the United States, or
    • Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
    • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(3)

 

Work Environment:

  • Primarily on the production floor with constant exposure to dust and mechanical parts.
  • Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses is required.
