Purpose of the position:
This position is part of the Quality Management structure, therefore its purpose is to control and preserve the quality management system, as well as to coordinate the calibration of measuring equipment and ensure operation according to the established regulations.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for the control, updating and management of the QMS.
- Responsible for creating internal audit plan and follow-up actions for non-conformities.
- Responsible for verifying corrective actions generated by process audits.
- Responsible for supervising the use of documents in the quality management system.
- Responsible for the control, updating and management of the gauge-pack calibration system.
- Responsible for the reference standards of the laboratories and ensure their safekeeping.
- Establish individual strategies and goals for each area where measuring and testing equipment is used.
- Plan, supervise and control all administrative aspects inherent to the laboratory and to the measuring and testing equipment, as well as supervise the correct training of personnel using the measuring equipment.
Act as a representative before any internal body related to metrology and with customers and suppliers.
- Take care of updating the procedures of the quality system, measurement methods of the measurement and test equipment, as well as those that apply to the laboratory, be responsible for the traceability of the measurement equipment and the laboratory's reference standards.
- Make and review calibration reports of measurement and test equipment and organise internal quality audits of measurement and test equipment and laboratory.
- Responsible for executing R%R studies together with the quality engineers.
Requirements:
- Schooling Bachelor's degree.
- Intermediate to advanced English
- Minimum 3 years experience in quality area (QMS, Quality, Metrology).
- Experience leading QMS and customer audits.
- Comprehensive internal auditor certification desirable (ISO9001/14001/45001/45001).
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 Standard
- Knowledge of Core tools
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Root cause analysis (8D's, PDCA, A3, etc.)
- Drawing interpretation
- Inspection and sampling protocols
- QMS development, implementation and follow-up
