The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

The candidate will lead the standardization of manufacturing processes and products as part of a capacity optimization and business continuity/risk mitigation initiative. The candidate will lead the transfer and launch of new products in an expansion manufacturing facility located in San Juan del Rio, MX. The candidate will collaborate with leadership to support these activities within the SJdR facility and other locations in the business. The position will require coordination between the development and manufacturing teams across multiple locations. The candidate will assist in developing production processes as needed to support product launches.

Training in statistics in school and on-the-job strongly preferred. Geometrical & Trigonometry Knoledge
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Minitab.
Working knowledge of 3D Design Suite (CAD), CNC & Mastercam preferred.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and engineering drawings.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work performed in an office and factory settings. Exposure to the manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment. Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, and odors. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting up to 20 lbs as required.
