Responsibilities

Objective:


Its purpose is to ensure the effective operation of the different warehouses of the plant; through ensuring adequate inventory levels to supply the different operations of the plant within the corresponding financial parameters; ensures the preparation of shipments of different products meeting the specifications of destination, within the established times; also, analyzes, proposes and implements actions for continuous improvement within the processes under his responsibility.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for the planning and organization of the program of activities of the different warehouses under his/her charge; through coordinating tasks with the Warehousemen in charge, delegating activities and following up on pending tasks.
- Coordinates with the shipping area, the preparation of the different products to be sent to the different programmed destinations, coordinating with the warehousemen and the production supervisors in a timely manner, in order to anticipate possible bottlenecks that may affect on time deliveries.
- He is responsible for issuing and coordinating the program for cyclic and physical inventories, ensuring the effective communication of the interested parties to avoid affecting the plant's production activities.
- Is responsible for establishing, following up and reporting warehouse performance indicators, in order to evaluate its efficiency; proposing and executing the corrective actions required to achieve the area's objectives.

- Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and releasing consumables warehouse requirements; ensuring timely supply to the different areas of the plant, avoiding waste and overstocking, as well as verifying reorder points to avoid cost overruns due to emergencies resulting from lack of planning.
- Responsible for communicating in an effective and timely manner with the corresponding people in the USA plants, in order to have relevant information for warehouse management.
- Responsible for planning the distribution of space in the warehouses, ensuring adequate availability for the receipt and storage of products and raw materials.

 

Qualifications

Technical Competencies:

 

- Knowledge and experience performing inventories
- Knowledge and experience analyzing warehouse information.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of ERP for warehouse management.
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel use
- Ability to analyze information and make decisions
- Intermediate-Advanced English
- Safety standards applicable to Warehousing
- Knowledge of supply chain operation
-Bachelor's degree
