Overview

Regional Planning Manager - Manufacturing

In a context where Predictability and agility are keys for business growth and profitability, we are looking for a Regional Planning manager. Responsible for managing Demand & Supply planning activities for the region EMEA, you support actively sales and marketing to achieve Business Growth Target. You are the voice of the customer inside operations and ensure about Sales, operation and finance plans alignment over Strategical, tactical and operational horizon. To do so you collaborate proactively across several departments including Sales, Marketing and Operations . You have a team of Supply planners as direct report. 

 

Responsibilities

Main Role: 

You have a strategical role in designing multi-level Planning models (Sales channels, Site, Product line) and implementing inventory best practices that will reinforce predictability to support business growth and ensure competitiveness by always keeping in mind the overall cost to serve. 

Your Suppliers : End Customers, Sales department, Marketing department, Customer service 

Your Customers : Financial controllers, Operation managers, Site Planners 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for Regional SIOP process execution over the region 
  • Support Sales in the Sales forecast and traduce it into Demand plan for the whole region  
  • Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers. 
  • Detect market demand challenges and design planning processes (SIOP, MPS, MRP) necessary to answer to it. 
  • Supervise Supply planners in their target to reconcile Demand & Supply 
  • Make sure downstream and upstream organizations collaborate within one unique plan 
  • Pilot S&OE weekly meeting to control planning execution and take appropriate actions in case of any deviations 
  • Accountable for customer service level performances 

 

Performance accountability:

  • Sales Forecast accuracy 
  • Supply planning adherence to SIOP 
  • Working capital (Inventory costs)  

Qualifications

Skills: 

  • Good understanding of market demand channels 
  • Basic knowledge of Sales and Marketing processes 
  • Customer satisfaction performance management 
  • Basic knowledge in E2E Supply chain 
  • Advanced skills in demand forecasting statistical tecnics 
  • Advanced skills in SIOP and Master Production Scheduling Processes 
  • Advanced skills in Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) 
  • Advanced skills in Inventory management  
  • Good Analytical skills 
  • APICS basics required 
  • Team management 
  • Pro-active communication skills (multi-level)
