Are you an experienced supply chain leader ready to make a significant impact across multiple sites? Join our Performance Carbon division as a Supply Chain Manager with responsibility for our St Marys and Coudersport, PA manufacturing sites. In this strategic role, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring that our customer demands are met with excellence.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and Develop the Supply Chain Team: Manage the multi-site supply chain team, including Scheduling, Production Planning, Buying, and Logistics, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Supplier Management: Negotiate and renew strategic supplier agreements, ensuring materials meet production demands while holding suppliers accountable for on-time performance.
  • Optimize Demand Planning: Work closely with Commercial & Operations leaders to accurately match customer demand with production capacity through effective demand planning and scheduling.
  • Drive Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies, stratify suppliers, and oversee the reduction of supply chain costs without compromising quality.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize KPIs and create dashboards to monitor and report supply chain performance, enabling proactive adjustments and improvements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Operate cross-functionally to build strong relationships with internal teams and provide clear, effective communication across all levels.
  • Support Operational Capacity: Manage stock, forecasting, procurement, and production planning to ensure operational capacity aligns with demand.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven Leadership: 5-10 years of experience leading supply chain, purchasing, or planning teams, with a track record of success in managing multi-functional supply chain disciplines.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential.
  • Analytical and Strategic Mindset: Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to identify trends, adapt priorities, and drive change.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to present ideas and reports effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work collaboratively across various functions.
  • Quality Knowledge: Familiarity with quality systems such as TS, ISO, QS, or Aerospace standards is a plus.
