Summary 

As the Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for constantly looking for ways to improve processes, products, and performance by identifying problems and alternatives to existing job tasks or processes, implementing solutions, and measuring results.  You will apply extensively the full range of Focused Improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Manufacturing.  In this position you will use a variety of process improvement tactics, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodology, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, and Kaizen.  Your job is to collect data and analyze current operating procedures to determine which continuous improvement process technique is the best for our situation.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • BS degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in continuous improvement role
  • Strong analytical skills
