Responsibilities

We have a customer account lead role that will support the team in developing & increasing the sales activities for the CPI market in Europe for Sic, Carbon and Aluminum oxide materials manufactured in Europe.

 

 

Customer relationships

 

  • Regular phone contact with customers and update the data in the relevant ERP system
  • Answer customer phone calls & Emails concerning delivery, stocks, current orders, quotes and complaints
  • Inform the customer about the follow up of any concerns and his deliveries
  • Manage stock orders
  • Obtain additional information for the execution of the order 
  • Welcome and to take care of customers during plant tour of the 2 sites (Lux & Redditch)
  • Sales, sourcing new customers, contacts via Internet and Press information from external sales
  • Manage the CRM tool in order to coordinate and report the customer interaction activities
  • Forwarding market information to the line manager and the management.

 

 

Quote and orders

  • Prepare the quote upon customer’s requirements applying prices and conditions defined by the production sites : to issue prices, communicate with the customer and to file the quote
  • Follow up the quote and be responsible for its realization. Documentation of the offer follow -up in the offer pipeline or offer tool provided by site. To be proactive i.e. renegotiate the conditions if necessary and assure the good realization of the quote.
  • Communicate with the sites for non- standard quotes
  • Receive the order confirmation from the customer
  • Enter the order into the relevant ERP system and to check that the order is on line with the quotation,
  • Validate the lead-time based on the current production & material capacity (site planning interaction),
  • Send the order confirmation to the customer

 

Qualifications

This role will be ideal for you if you have a passion for techncial details, you are comfortable talking with cutomers and you are organised.

 

We would like to hear from you if you have:

 

- Experience in internal sales and managing small customers or interested in a techncial, customer facing role

- You are a strong communicator and experience in managing customer expectations in line with business expectations 

- English (fluent) and German (strong)

- Experience of working in mutlinational organisations or cross countries desirable
