Test Manager

The role of a Test Manager involves all aspects of a Dynamics 365 lifecycle. You will be expected to be involved in all test preparation activities and work with internal Morgan team members and team members from our third party partners.

The Test Manager must be passionate about testing quality and have a proven track record in delivering quality solutions to meet client requirements.

You will be expected to continually add to your knowledge and keep up to date with Microsoft’s changing platforms and new features – your knowledge will not be restricted to Dynamics but be expected to touch the greater IT landscape.

The Test Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of business resources in the creation of test cases, testing strategy, test execution and reporting on results. The Test Manager will support the D365 project team at all levels and work alongside Project Managers in the planning of testing activities. The Test Manager should also work in collaboration with the Data team to ensure data suitability and readiness for testing.

The Test Manager will also be responsible for the continued development, mentoring and training of direct reports.

• Manage internal testing team and provide advice, guidance and support
• Production of testing documentation in collaboration with business resources
• Provide test tool training to both internal and external clients as required
• Demonstrating and describing to clients the architecture of the testing tools, and how the ancillary components interact
• Assisting Project Managers with planning testing aspects of a client delivery
• Demonstrate and train on the use of relevant tools (e.g. LCS, BPM, Automated Testing, Azure DevOPS) in relation to testing within a Dynamics implementation
• Responsible for architecting test plans and execution within D365 solutions
• Any other duties in line with your role and as requested by your manager

• 3+ years experience of ERP testing.
• Working with D365 or AX 2012 is an distinct advantage
• Used to working in projects following a given methodology
• Good documentation skills, particularly in producing design specifications and test scripts
• Proven experience performing functional and non functional testing
• Commercial awareness and total dedication to delivering maximum return on investment for our clients
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a team based consulting environment
• Knowledge of Azure DevOPS
• Knowledge of Microsoft LifeCycle Services (LCS) and Business Process Modeller (BPM)
• Knowledge of Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT) or other automated test tool
• Hold a relevant testing certification (e.g. ISTQB)
