Regional Strategic Indirect Sourcing Lead (Remote Lyon area)

Join Morgan Thermal Ceramics - EMEA as a Regional Strategic Indirect Sourcing Lead focused on indirect procurement categories including utilities, energy, freight, maintenance, and services. This role is pivotal in optimizing supply chains and maintaining robust supplier relationships to support operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the region. Your expertise will ensure that procurement strategies align with our ambitious growth targets and sustainability goals.

• Build and deploy an indirect category strategy for EMEA region, spend portfolio ~€40m.
• Strategically source and procure indirect categories such as utilities, maintenance services, energy and freight to support all EMEA locations.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process using ERP systems, ensuring materials and services are delivered timely.
• Negotiate contracts and develop relationships with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and improve service quality.
• Drive supplier performance management to enhance supplier reliability and accountability.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Project teams, to ensure aligned procurement strategies.
• Lead procurement initiatives for new business development, optimizing cost and ensuring the best value in all contracts.

• Demonstrated experience in indirect procurement
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to establish effective supplier partnerships.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, comfortable with MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Fluent in French and Enlgish is mandatory.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive, persuasive attitude.
