Overview

Thermal Ceramics Italiana ricerca la figura di Process Engineer (Ingegnere di processi) per ridurre le emissioni di CO2 ed ottimizzare l'efficienza energetica dell'impianto con nuove tecnologie e soluzioni innovative.

 

Mission:

Identify and implement in the plant all the necessary actions to beat UE and Morgan Group CO2 regulations about carbon footprint (CO2 -50% by 2030 and 0 by 2050), water, waste and energy consumption, through continuous analysis and improvement, constant technological survey, collaboration with internal and external R&D and relevant players, preferring as much as possible renewable or sustainable energy sources.

Responsibilities

  • Do a constant technological survey.
  • combine renewable energy with existing power systems.
  • arrange new supplies and negotiate tariffs with fuel, water, gas, electricity providers.
  • carry out site inspections and energy surveys and lead relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • establish kilns assessment and propose possible improvements, in collaboration with internal or external engineering department.
  • implement dedicated facility for burners and firing experimentations.
  • investigate new firing and burners technologies, do experimental tests.
  • use mathematical and computer models to complete design and specification calculations.
  • carry out lab experiments and adapt them to large-scale industrial processes.
  • prepare detailed schedules of work, feasibility studies, cost estimates and CAPEX request.
  • negotiate service agreements and manage associated costs and revenues.
  • Attend to conferences and lobby meetings.
  • Train and inform internal stakeholders.
  • keep up to date w ith legislation and environmental standards and make sure systems and processes comply.
  • Do internal regular reporting.
  • develop technical expertise in all matters to do with energy and environmental control together with EHS Dpt.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with Group Technology and other group plants.

Qualifications

Fluent in English.

Experience in a manufacturing company preferred.
